These terms apply to services provided by PREST OFFICE LIMITED (“PREST OFFICE”, “we”) to a client (“you”). Where we sign a separate written agreement or a quote with its own terms, that document takes precedence over these terms for anything it covers.
1. What we provide
PREST OFFICE Digital provides defined digital services: website creation, brand basics, commercial and sales materials, and practical digital automation. What you receive on a given project is whatever is listed in the scope document you accept — nothing on this website is itself a contractual offer of a specific deliverable.
2. Quotes and scope
- Prices shown on this website are starting prices for the scope described, in euros.
- Before any payment, we send you a written scope and a quote: the deliverables, the exclusions, the number of revision rounds, what we need from you, the timeline and the price.
- A quote is valid for 30 days from its date unless it says otherwise.
- The contract is formed when you accept the quote in writing and, where a deposit applies, when that deposit is received.
- Anything not listed in the accepted scope is out of scope and is quoted separately.
3. Payment
- Custom project work is invoiced 50% on acceptance of the quote and 50% on delivery.
- Final files, source material and accesses are handed over once the final invoice is paid.
- Recurring services, where offered, are invoiced at the beginning of the period they cover.
- Prices are in euros. Any tax that applies is shown on the quote and on the invoice.
- Invoices are payable by the date stated on them. We may suspend work on an overdue account after telling you in writing.
- Bank or payment provider charges on your side are yours; ours are ours.
4. Revisions
Your quote states the number of revision rounds included, and entry offers always include at least one complete round. A revision round is one consolidated set of change requests. Requests that change the agreed scope, rather than refine what was agreed, are treated as additional work and quoted separately.
5. Timelines and what we need from you
- The delivery schedule is agreed in the scope document before work begins.
- You agree to provide content, feedback, approvals and any access we need, within the windows set out in the scope.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you supply and for holding the rights to use it.
- If a project is paused on your side, we will tell you in writing what that means for the timeline and, where relevant, for the price. We may treat a project with no client response for 60 days as suspended.
6. Delivery
Everything is delivered digitally — a deployed website, files, documents or accesses — by email or through a shared link. There is no physical shipment. Delivery is complete when the deliverables in the scope have been made available to you.
7. Ownership of the work
- On payment in full, the intellectual property rights in the deliverables created specifically for you transfer to you.
- Until payment in full, we retain those rights and grant you no licence to use the deliverables commercially.
- Third-party components keep their own licences — fonts, software libraries, stock assets, platforms and hosting. We tell you which apply and you are responsible for complying with them.
- We keep ownership of our own pre-existing tools, methods, templates and know-how, including anything general we develop while working for you.
- Unless you ask us in writing not to, we may describe the work in general terms as an example of what we do. We will not publish material you have marked confidential.
8. How the work is produced
We use structured workflows, modern software and AI-assisted tools for selected research, drafting, formatting and technical production tasks. Every deliverable is reviewed and approved by a person before it is sent to you, and we remain responsible for it. We do not use your project material to train models.
9. Hosting, domains and third-party accounts
Unless your quote says otherwise, hosting, domain registration and third-party subscriptions are taken in your name, on your accounts, and paid by you. We can set them up and configure them, but we are not responsible for the availability, pricing or terms of services operated by others.
10. Confidentiality
Each of us will keep confidential the non-public information the other shares for the purposes of the project, and will use it only for those purposes. This does not apply to information that is already public, that is received legitimately from someone else, or that must be disclosed by law.
11. Warranties and limits
- We will provide the services with reasonable care and skill.
- We do not warrant that a website will be free of every defect, that it will rank in any particular position in a search engine, or that it will produce any particular commercial result. Nobody can honestly warrant those things.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data.
- Our total liability in connection with a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Cancellation
Cancellation and refunds are covered in a separate policy, which forms part of these terms.
13. Acceptable use
We will not produce work that is unlawful, that infringes someone else’s rights, that is designed to deceive people, or that we consider harmful. If we discover that a project falls into one of those categories, we may stop work and end the contract.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules of the law of your country of residence, and where your contract states a different governing law, that contract prevails.
