Work

Concept demonstrations

These five concepts were built in-house on invented brands. They exist to show the design, structure and writing standard of our work — nothing here is a client project, and no commercial result is claimed for any of them.

Every brand on this page is fictional. Names, wording and figures were invented for demonstration. They are not clients of PREST OFFICE and they do not represent real businesses.

Verrand Advisory

Independent consultant

A one-person consultancy that charges senior rates and needs a site that does not undercut them. Restraint does the selling: no stock photography, no growth claims, a lot of white space and a single clear way to get in touch.

  • Editorial typographic hierarchy
  • Credibility without decoration
  • Long-form reading layout

Quiet, editorial, generous margins

Maison Lorette

Restaurant and hospitality

A neighbourhood restaurant whose entire online job is to make someone book a table tonight. Menu and booking are reachable in one tap from anywhere, and the design carries the room’s atmosphere without a slideshow of plated food.

  • Mobile-first booking path
  • Warm palette handled with restraint
  • Menu that reads well on a phone

Warm, hospitable, high contrast headings

ATELIER NORD

Premium retail

A small-batch maker selling on craft rather than volume. Product images carry the page, so the interface gets out of the way: a strict grid, near-monochrome, and typography doing the talking between the pictures.

  • Strict modular grid
  • Near-monochrome discipline
  • Product-led composition

Stark, wide letter-spacing, all caps

Caulfield & Rowe

Professional practice

A regulated practice whose clients are choosing on trust, not on price. The structure is deliberately conventional — services, people, fees, how to instruct — because in this sector a surprising layout reads as a risk, not as a personality.

  • Conventional structure done well
  • Dense information kept readable
  • Fee transparency as a selling point

Institutional, structured, unshowy

Studio Halvard

Independent creator

A solo creator whose personality is part of the product. The site can be bolder than a corporate one, but it still has to answer the two questions that matter — what does it cost, and how do I book you — above the fold.

  • Confident scale and colour
  • Personality without losing clarity
  • Rates stated openly

Large scale, high-contrast accent
