Our services are custom professional work made for one client. This policy sets out plainly what happens if a project is cancelled, at each stage, and what the deposit covers.
Before you pay anything
You can stop at any point before accepting a quote, and nothing is owed. Sending an enquiry, receiving a scope and receiving a quote commit you to nothing.
After you accept a quote and pay the deposit
If you cancel before production starts
If you tell us in writing that you are cancelling before we have started production work, we refund the deposit in full, less any third-party cost we have already incurred on your instruction — for example a domain registration or a licence purchased for your project. We will tell you what those costs are.
If you cancel once production has started
The deposit covers the work already carried out. If you cancel during production, we stop, invoice nothing further, and keep the deposit against the work done. Where the work done is clearly worth less than the deposit, we refund the difference — we are not looking to keep money we have not earned. Where the work done exceeds the deposit, we will not invoice you for the excess unless your quote says otherwise.
On request we will set out what was produced and how the deposit was applied.
If you cancel after delivery
Once the deliverables have been delivered and the final invoice paid, the project is complete and the amount is not refundable, because the work is custom and cannot be resold. That does not affect the paragraph below on work that is not as described.
If the work is not as described
If a deliverable does not match the scope you accepted, tell us in writing within 14 days of delivery, describing what is wrong. We will correct it at no charge. If we cannot bring it into line with the accepted scope within a reasonable time, we will refund the part of the price attributable to the deliverable concerned.
A change of mind about a design direction that matches the accepted scope is a revision, not a defect, and is handled through the revision rounds in your quote.
If we cancel
We may end a project if we cannot obtain what we need from you to continue, if an account remains unpaid after we have asked, or if the work falls outside what we are willing to produce. If we end a project for a reason that is not your fault, we refund everything you have paid for work not yet delivered.
Recurring services
Where a recurring service is offered, it is invoiced at the beginning of the period it covers. You can stop it at any time with written notice before the next period begins. The current period is not refunded, since it has been provided.
How a refund is paid
Refunds are made to the payment method used for the original payment, in the currency of the original payment, within 14 days of us agreeing the refund. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show it.
How to cancel or request a refund
Write to contact@prestofficeglobal.com with your name, the project, and what you are asking for. A written message is enough — there is no form to complete and no account to close. We will confirm in writing.
Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights that may apply to you. This is not legal advice.
